The 10T1/2 cell line, also known as C3H/10T1/2, Clone 8, is derived from C3H mouse embryo cells and displays fibroblast-like morphology. Notably, it exhibits multipotential characteristics, capable of differentiating into three mesodermal stem cell lineages upon treatment with 5-azacytidine. These cells display a heightened sensitivity to post-confluence inhibition of cell division, yet they do not elicit tumor formation in syngeneic mice. Importantly, they exhibit no spontaneous transformation and lack endogenous transforming murine leukemia or sarcoma viruses. Furthermore, the 10T1/2 cells exhibit contact sensitivity.- ONLINE INQUIRY
