AceSeq™ DNA Dephosphorylation Kit is developed for dephosphorylating the -PO4 group at the 5’ end of DNA molecules. During molecular cloning, the self-ligation of the vector greatly reduces the ligation efficiency, and dephosphorylation of the -PO4 groups at the 5’ ends of the vector DNA can inhibit the self-ligation reaction. In addition, it is also necessary to remove the original -PO4 group before labeling the 5’ end of DNA or RNA.
