Ca Ski is an epithelial cell line derived from the cervical tissue of a 40-year-old White female patient with epidermoid carcinoma. These cells express the beta subunit of human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG), tumor-associated antigen, and G6PD type B. They contain an integrated human papillomavirus type 16 genome (HPV-16, approximately 600 copies per cell) and sequences related to HPV-18. For subculturing, Ca Ski cells are split when they reach 70-80% confluence at ratios ranging from 1:3 to 1:6 using 0.05% trypsin or trypsin/EDTA.- ONLINE INQUIRY
