MKN-7 is derived from well-differentiated tubular adenocarcinoma. These cells are meticulously cultured in RPMI 1640 medium supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum, utilizing a passage method involving treatment with 0.02% EDTA and 0.25% trypsin.
