Panc 10.05 is an epithelial cell line derived from a primary pancreatic adenocarcinoma tumor located in the pancreatic head of a male patient in 1992. These cells are notable for harboring a K-ras oncogene mutation at codon 12, characterized by a GGT to GAT substitution resulting in the replacement of glycine with aspartic acid. Panc 10.05 cells exhibit tumorigenicity in nude or SCID mice and express the MHC class I surface antigen.
